What are the roles?

Newton Abbot - Waveguide Graduate Radio Frequency/Microwave Engineer Role

  • Waveguides are mechanical systems that guide radio frequency (RF) systems.
  • You will collaborate with your team in the research, development and design of waveguide components.
  • You will be at the forefront of designing and manufacturing waveguide for a variety of clients from industries such as defence, medical and communication.
  • You will work across a variety of projects which will see you have an impact on oncology treatment, flying systems and missile systems.

Stockport - Skyware Graduate Radio Frequency/Electronic Engineer Role

  • This team designs, manufactures and distributes satellite antennas.
  • You will be in a hands-on role which will see you design and make electronic devices that sit on the end of antennas, allowing two way messages from satellites transceivers.
  • You will design a range of small to mid-size antennas and you will add value to projects of all sizes.

Who is best suited to this role?

  • You must have achieved or be on track for a 2:2 in electrical/ microwave/ communications engineering, physics or a related degree discipline.
  • Past work experiences or internships related to waveguide and satellite engineering is desirable but not necessary.
  • These roles will suit self-motivated students who are naturally inquisitive and have an openness to learning and with good problem-solving skills.
