Monday to Friday, 39 Hours
Core Hours:  Monday – Thursday 8am to 4.30pm
Friday 8am – 3.30pm

Scope

We are looking for a dynamic person to work at our company based in Devon which provide bespoke waveguide products for Medical, Defence and Telecommunications industries. You are required to help with processing orders, speaking to customers, liaising on delivery dates and general office administration.

This is a great position within a lively and dedicated team where you can really make a difference and work together.

Purpose of the role

To provide Sales Admin support to the facility.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Answering incoming telephone calls
  • Communicating courteously with customers by telephone, email, letter and face to face
  • Input and processing of orders
  • General administration as and when required
  • Assisting with investigating and solving customers' problems
  • Keeping accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers
  • Producing written information for customers, involving use of computer packages/software

The ideal candidate

  • Polite telephone manner
  • Computer literate with good keyboard skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Ability and willingness to learn about our products and keeping up to date with changes
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Additional languages are an advantage (particularly Italian)
