The amplifier has been designed to act as both a launch amplifier and as a repeater amplifier. The SLA provides gain (12-24 d B) for each satellite feed. The STLA adds a gain adjustment to the terrestrial path. The unit can be powered via an external switch mode power supply, or from any of the 4 trunk ports (via connected multiswitch).
